Two-page spread drawn for my comics class. Experimenting with representing song lyrics and spot colors. I chose Pwrfl Power’s “Two Keys”. I sent them to him and he said, “I looked at all of them, great jobs Mare!”
He is a Cornish alum and is pretty great, by the way.

My first whack at animation. Not a Motion Major so it was fun to see things wiggle a little even if it did take a million pieces of paper to draw everything (and not even end up using all of them).
The song is “The Ugly & The Beautiful” by The (Real) Tuesday Weld. I like it.

“Instructions: To make your own booklet, print out the PDF and fold the paper in half three times. Next, open it up and cut along the dotted line. Fold the book in half vertically and push the inner pages outward, making a “+” formation. Finally, fold all the pages together.”
